Black or yellow? Why not common yellow soybeans instead of black soybeans? Of the two types only the seed coat of the black soybean contain anthocyanins ( flavonid family). These anthocyanins work to remove free radicals from your immune system. Scientific investigations by Chinese, Japanese & Korean Universities have proven the worth of the black soybean. Most soybean research in the USA is sponsored by the yellow soybean industry which plays down the benefits of the black soybean.
